Hopmonk is a nice casual tavern that has some great food. Our party of four tried the salmon cake sliders, grilled chicken sandwich, fish & chips and a chicken Philly sandwich. Ample portions, I enjoyed half of my chicken Philly the next day. Nice patio seating or inside in the bar or den (a more secluded area for about 15 people.

This is a solid stop in Sonoma. Their outdoor patio is perfect for a beautiful afternoon visit. I got the hard kombucha and cider in draft: decent. We LOVE the samosas (cilantro sauce is to die for) and Korean cauliflower. The sweet potato and garlic fries are delish and went well with the French dip and Cubano. French dip was too notch and the Cubano was ok. The service was slow this visit (unusual) so 4 is as high as I can go!

This place was recommended by a new friend who lives in the area. We decided to come for lunch on our day trip out here in Sonoma. We ordered the Chili Verde and a sparkling wine from a local vineyard. The food was delicious, and plenty for me, I took half home for the next day. The wine was decent, very smooth. The servers were all pleasant and helpful. We sat outside in the patio area, which was full of people. $90 for 2 meals and 2 glasses of wine, though, ouch! Quite expensive. But we enjoyed everything, so no major complaints. I'd come back again if I was in the area.

Cesar and Ashley are the best Bartenders! Had Pliny the elder beer with fish tacos and Korean cauliflower for the win! Super fun atmosphere with a cold beer!

Cute place in Sonoma. There's plenty of outdoor seating. Fun, lively atmosphere. They have a bar and seating inside. Definitely a place to go watch a game. They also have a huge outdoor seating area. Service was good. We went at an off time so may be best to come early or see if they take reservations. The food & drinks were good. I've been here 2-3 times; so I highly recommend this place!

My wife and I visited Hopmonk on a Saturday in June around 12:45. We were promptly seated inside. We had the option of inside or outside but as the temperature was pushing 90 degrees, inside was definitely preferred. Typically I would have opted for a draft beer as the list was fairly impressive but was in the midst of a wine sampling tour. I would definitely like to try a few beers and/or wine. I had the French Dip with garlic fries. The French Dip was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The garlic fries were amazing as well. My wife had grilled cheese and enjoyed hers. Our waitress was just average which is why I didn't give 5 stars. She didn't really check on us at all. There was a cover band playing outside that if it was cooler I would have been more inclined to sit outside and listen to. If you are nearby, this is a must stop. Portions are strong and the quality is outstanding. Next time I'm trying beverages.

I came in town to visit family and this place was reserved. It was a hot Saturday and found that the parking was limited, I noticed that one of the garbage pins took up two spots of parking since we had a group of four cars with 10 people. The woman at the podium greeted and showed us to our seats immediately. Our waiter checked in with us on drinks and the menu, she stepped away to help other tables and wait for our orders. It was a short time but the family members who usually come around here recommended a lot to me and my wife so our table was ready to order. I had the herb roasted chicken with mashed potatoes, my wife had a chicken sandwich with fries and a cucumber. My cousins had drinks and various other foods like sliders and sandwiches that was in the menu. All I can say was that I enjoyed my meal. The place had plenty of shade and the tables were directly under it, there was also water fountains where I saw kids played in but the signs on them said that it had bleach so please keep an eye out for your kids. The bar was inside the building and it looked like no one was tabled from the inside because it was a really nice day. The bathroom didn't smell like those public park bathrooms, it had decent ventilation to keep the air fresh from the inside. I'd come here again to see what the night vibe is like, it sorta looked like a nice place for dinner too.

This family friendly tavern has both a larger outdoor seating area and cozy indoor seating with a large bar and cute little stage! The staff were nice and the service was pretty quick for it being a saturday evening. They had a live music schedule at each table that showed they had people come in almost every friday-sunday.
